Tuesday, August 26, 2009 - First doctor check-up

The one week check-up at our doctor is due today and we already dread both how long it might take to get in and what he might say in the light of Nico’s regurgitation and restlessness. So it takes us even longer than the anticipated time to see the Doc, but then the check-up at least does not produce anything out of the ordinary, so all is good. Of course as part of this, Nico also gets weighed and he clocks in at 5 lbs. 8 ½ oz. and 18 ½ inches, so he is growing very nicely, especially as most babies lose weight during their first few weeks, so he’s swimming against the stream already!
